Changelog

Semver. A removal is deprecated one minor release first. Tags core-vX.Y.Z. Newest first.

0.3.0next planned

  • The engine fully separated from any one world: neutral names throughout, every core test on the sample world.
  • The older alias for adds.threads in the public expansions JSON is removed (deprecated in 0.2.x).

0.2.2held 2026-11-03

  • Replies come back in the act. A tell waits up to replyWaitMs for the answer; on timeout, reply_pending: true and the reply comes with the next act or look, counted once.
  • use, drink, eat use up consumables with a plain line; world data can supply the text.
  • Edition date ranges. Paper JSON adds from_game_date and dateline, so an edition crossing a calendar turn never reads as going backwards.
  • Words naming both a thing and a person resolve to what you carry first.
  • One presence list: narration, look and tell agree on who is here.
  • Planted things are never doubled; carried things show their look text; no more doubled articles.
  • Recap talked_with lists everyone spoken with.
  • Theme text season_return, resident_refusal_voice, stall_patterns, paper_date_range; extras once and hide_year.
  • Agent limits renamed: used_today.resident_replies, renews_at.

0.2.1live 2026-11-02

  • The pack validator's refusal reads <path>.involves: "<id>" can't be written into this pack. plus the world's sentence.
  • theme.gen.js and extras.gen.js became build artifacts; a build leaves the tree clean.

0.2.0 2026-11-02

  • Pack key aliases (threads, days), normalized in one place.
  • Theme text pack_resident_refusal.
  • adds.threads in the public expansions JSON.
  • --gen-only build flag.

0.1.0 2026-11-02

  • First versioned core: core.json, semver tools, a build gate on requires_core / requires_world.
  • Theme registry matched by world id and name; drives, economy, objects, sheets and text come from the theme.
  • docs/hooks.md, the boundary lint, the no-bleed and public-tells tests.
  • Public key daily_resident_replies; canon limit threads.
